You might remember the intake thread I posted a couple of weeks ago concerning the ram air setup that Arisa fabricated for me while he was repairing the nose on me Vette. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/showthread.php?t=866751
I wanted a screen of some kind to protect the intake from rocks, birds (It can happen as anyone who stayed at the Belmont for CI IV can tell you... poor Mustang...) but I wanted to make sure that the screen would flow well enough to not invalidate the work that went into the intake.
My front lisence plate cover was pretty torn up from the wreck, so I had intended to create a new one from heavy screen.... well, my fabricatig skills are NOT on a par with Arisa's so I went the other route.
I cut the cover and installed the screen on the back of it. It's ready for paint prep if I can get it over to Dave in time. If not, I'll try my hand at painting it here (*shudder* )
The screen is heavy-duty, stainless steel and should last a while.
That is a little grayscale VGA 640x480 monitor that I use for benchtesting. It is a buttload easier to haul around than my LCD. I had been helping my stepson diagnose a problem he was having with his new mobo/chip/graphics card.
