Default N2O and ECM learn. Question

I just read 1990dtglL98squared's thread and most all of my questions were answered there by Pete and the rest. But I have one that wasn't.
I too have a slightly modded 1990 L98 with 78k miles and have been considering an adjustable 50-125 wet shot with an on demand purge and spray button. I've been told that I must go and make like 5 passes before ECM learns the NOS and adjusts before really attempting tuning.
My source tells me all this but didn't seem too sure about his answer when I asked about everyday driving.
My question to you guys is this: Will ECM learn the NOS and then act differently when everyday driving without the spray?? Or is part of the learning process it teaching itself to act right in both instances? I want the boost without the loss of daily driving. Is it too much to ask, to want my cake and to eat it too, when it comes to Nitrous?? This may be a dumb question, but I just want to be sure that this is what I want to do.
T.I.A. everyone.

nerver heard of ECM need to learn when spraying N2O. Your main concern is be sure you have a good fuel pump (255lph pump) and gap your plug to .035 and colder plug. You can use MSD digital 6+ for timing retard and other safety features. Your car should be act normal without N2O.

Thanks. This guy has done work for John Force and works for Total Performance and seems to know a bunch, so I thought he at least knew a little. But maybe not about Corvettes. Thats just what he said about the ECM thing, so I dunno.
My pump is stock, is that not enough for wet spray? I thought you just needed more pressure when dry spraying. My plugs are AC delco rapid fire #5's, cut back and gapped at .040. Is this not ok? Whats reccomended in the way of colder plug? Thanks

I run, and have heard others recommend the NGK TR6 @ 0.035 - 0.040 gap.
