tunercat software??
i have a 91 vette tpi. which program do i get from tunercat??is this the best program that works for everyone?? i'm looking to monitor my engine performance and make changes to my prom.can you get these in one program?? also what type of laptop do i need how fast does it have to be?? and which windows?? thanks

You have a speed density system with a 727 ecm, which is essentially the same as a '730- except that you have the under hood version. Tunercat will let you alter the variables on your chip, but you will need an eprom burner, and an eprom eraser, and probably a few spare eproms too. You will also need a chip adapter or header that will make burning and installing those chips easier. Tunercat does not scan your computer or datalog. There are other software programs out there that do. Many here are partial to Tunercat, I prefer Tunerpro- which is free. Go to Moates.net , Craig sells everything you need, and has links to everything else. He's a great person to deal with, with great support.
