Thanks again for the help
I hope to have the instructions done any day now.

As for getting it in the car? It's called "lots of soldering".

I am going to bring the harness in and start lengthening wires... thats about all I can do.

Same happened to me, cut the tach filter off and the tach will work, the ASR may or may not work, sometimes the service ASR will come on and that disables the ASR, but since I shut mine off at the track it doesn't bother me.

Just finished the work on the car and everything is working and running awesome. The Service ASR light comes on but as long as the system still works I'm happy. Just like Mr Mojo said at the the track it's turned off.

I just wanted to say thanks to Mr Mojo for the help he; you beat Bob's email by a couple of seconds with the same answer.

Through all of this Bob's service has also been great; he responded to my email on a Saturday night. Few people care that much about their product or customers.

Thanks again,

Hey Bogus,

What terminals are you using for the Taylor wires on the spark plug end? The terminals that came with above kit won't fit on the plugs. What brand plugs are you using?

I am using the LT1 ends that are in your post. Those are the ends that will fit with the Opti, but also fit the LS1 coil.

Right....they fit the LS1 coils just fine but they don't fit my Delco spark plugs because the barrel is not removeable. So I'll have to either get different terminals or get spark plugs with a removable barrel. Any suggestions on a plug?

I just finished the LTCC conversion last week on my '95. I made home-made
brackets out of sheetmetal on the valve covers, and painted them black.

http://www.hiltgen.com/daniel/automo...ette/ignition/

I was a little nervious that the valve covers would leak around the bolts, but
I put some thin washers underneath the brackets to fill in the gap, and they
seem to be working fine. I've got one track event on them so far, and they're
working great.
