I have to replace the water pump on my '95 LT-1.
I bought a brand new one on eBay but it must be for a Camaro or Firebird. The pump is the same except it has an extra hose connection just above the temp sensor and the top heater hose connection is a 90 degree fitting instead of a straight. I would like to blank the one off above the temp sensor and change the other. Has anyone ever tried to remove these fittings ? They appear to be set with some kind of sealant. Any suggestions ????

...and when you buy the correct one - call Chris @ Superior Chevrolet in Kansas - I just a brand new, AC Delco water pump for my 96 for $153. That's pretty darned good, IMO.
I am happy with my Mezierre (electric) pump which uses your original housing...doesn't cost a lot more than a replacement pump, i think mine was ~$200 for the HD unit...and a couple free horsepower doesn't hurt!

Can you return it to the seller or is as is sale? Chris will take care of you.
