HELP my window wont go up
hey guys i just got home no more then 20 mins ago and i pulled in my driveway and started to put my windows up. passanger side whent up fine but my driver would not budge, so i thought it was stuck ok so i pulled on it a little while pushing up on the switch nothing happend. so i turned the car off and put the key to run and switch to volts and when i pressed up on the switch nothing happend, no movements in the voltage, so i pressed down and sure enough the lights on the dash dimed and voltage droped about .1. so im gettin power when i push the switch down and i can hear my motor turn on. where can i start looking. i need to fix it asap beacuse we have those heavy rains here in fl and i dont want to put a plastic bag over the window

same thing just happened to me on the passenger side window. Sounded like the motor just stopped when the window was only halfway up. I took off the door panel to test the motor....turned out one of the screws holding the speaker grill in place went all the way through and the window was getting caught on it. I would just make sure that nothing is blocking the window's path (window seals, screws or whatever) before you spend the $$ on a new motor. Soon as I freed the window, all was well.
