How long will a thermostate last
Not more than 6 years, thats how long mine lasted.

For some reason, I go through them annually! They all seem to stick partially open. I can tell when it is happening, at a light, car isquick to run up from 182 to over 205 and then slow to cool back down over a long run! I think the only thing that keeps me from running hotter is the fact that I drill two holes in the deck of the Thermo to eliminate air bubbles
