reuse tranny fluid?

reuse tranny fluid?
this may sound odd, but i was thinking abotu how so many people say that they don't want to change tranny fluid cause then its so clean etc etf, and then thier tranny is dammages cause it doenst have hte particulate in the fluid....
well i was thinking, i wodner if it woudl be worth for the first time i change it.. (overdrive unit) to reuse 1/2 of,the old fluid and half new.. and then replace it again at half the normal interval..
any thoughts? don't really feelliek changing it with new and having my overdrive unit fail....
