Does any one have any input on these units. I have a LT4 with the power stat and a K&N already installed. It runs really good now and wondered if there worth the $ or is there another brand out there better for the LT4?

If you just need it to change tire size, or rear gear ratio it works. If your motor is stock, not much gain, wait until you do some mods and get custom tuning done. Look for a used one if you decide to get it, but probably not worth it. I got one for my car, got a heck of a deal from a Forum member, I showed some gain from the previous time I was at the dyno, but I changed some other things also, so hard to tell what added the extra hp.

I used it to change my fan temp. it works for that.
Then I started playing with my rev limiter. I think it totally removed the rev limiter. I attempted to lower the rev limter, but yesterday I was almost at 7000 RPM's, and I never hit the limiter. so I am very skepitcal about it.

If you're interested, I have a Hypertech available from my 96 LT4. It has an additional prom available as well for Cam/Header upgrade. It adds about 10-12hp to the wheels and does help with down low torque. If you're looking for serious power go custom tune or do what I did....procharger...absolutely insane power.

Oh by the way I'll get rid of it for $200.

Let me know if you're interested. Send me a personal email. Thanks.

I had one when my GS was still somewhat stock. It worked for fan setings and gear swaps. The engine tune made the car slower in the 1/4 everytime I tried it. There claims are full of crap!!!
