AFR 210 LT4 heads with 2.08/1.60 valves, would these be to big for a daily driver 350 6 speed, how about a 396? I know you would lose some on the low end, but how much, and wouldn't you pick up a lot between 3k-7k?

Those are some big heads, but they'll work on a 350 bottom end (better on a 383+ though). If you get a cam that matches the heads well you should see a nice gain all over, and not mush loss in the low-end, if any. Picking up a lot between 3-7K (which I wouldn't rev to 7K on a stock bottom end) will depend a lot on the cam you select. Do you have to pass emissions? If not you might want to check out the Comp Cams 306 of the GM847 cam. They are big, but produce good numbers on 350s. If you have to concern yourslef with emissions then take a look at the Comp Cams 305 cam. The LT4 hot cam is nice, but I'm not sure it would be big enough for those heads...might want to talk to AFR about that.
Yes, I have to pass emissions. Would it pass with Random Tech cats and a 306 or similar cam, or would it just put out to much for the cats to handle?
How often do you have to pass emissions? The 306 cam, even with cats is a little iffy. What you could do is swap a set of 1.5 rockers in for the emissions test, then put the 1.6 rockers back on when you're done. That should make the cam small enough to pass pretty easily. It just depends if you want to do the work...swapping rockers isn't that bad, and if you only have to do it every 2 years or so then it may be worth it...but that's up to you!
i finally listed myself... are you going to sell the 210 you have? i'm building a 383 and i have a set of 190 TPIS AFR heads with the smaller intake valve and i might sell them. if you sell let me know or if you need a smaller head maybe when can work out a trade.
I run CNC ported stock LT4 castings...intake port is 219 cc.
My flow numbers are similar to AFR 210's...
I lug my engine at 1200 rpm all day. Is there less punch than stock...yes, but with my GM 847 camshaft...I tend to lean toward the cam loosing more lowend than the heads...as I ran these heads on my stock LT4 shortblock too with even better results on the lowend.
GM 847 does give me fits <2000 rpm for drivability problems...the engine wants a richer mixture and tends to have a lean stumble in this area...no way to force a richer mixture than factory commanded 14.7...as far as I can figure out. It does pull to 6900 rpm!
