New car, first mods?
Hello. I have a good chance on picking up a red 90 vette decently cheap, but I was wondering on some good cheap mods, that will get me the most HP bang for my buck.
I was told by someone to start with a cut lid w/ K&N filter, a Magnaflow exhaust system, and underdrive pulleys.
Any thoughts on either free or cheap mods that will get me the most HP?

do a complete tune up. exhaust is good. adjustable fuel reg, take fisbee off front of motor, a set of headers would be nice but they are alot. gutted cats or random tech. pulleys work but you might have slight charging problems at idle but not really sure thats what i heard.

I would hold off if youre just now buying the car, drive it for 3-6mos and decide what you want out of it before doing anything major.
Exhaust brands differ only in sound, just pick one you like. Take the Frisbee off the WP, K&N, thats all I'd do for now.

Cheap Mods on Corvette= No such thing!!!
I have a 95 model and have had corvettes and hotrods all my life, and I to was looking at some mods when I first bought the car, but after driving the car a while I have decided to leave this one stock. So drive it a while before diving into the mods.
