Mid-America duals installed

Got the duals from Mid-America installed on my car today. Not a bad job and the parts fit nicely with very little modification. They sound "mean" with the Flowmaster mufflers. They are much more "raspy" under acceleration but at highway speed the resonance seems to be eliminated, much quieter on the freeway.

Not to hi-jack your thread...but I put a set on my 84 (before I sold it) I had to have the muffler shop do a little re-shaping to them...I used the Corvette Central High Output LT1 turbo mufflers on mine...I picked up considerable HP going this route (note: 205HP on 84!!) I also had a manual tranny so not sure about low end loss cuz I could wind it up before I took off...

If I had to put a number to it...I would guess a good 20HP! Well worth it!

I was looking at getting those for my 85... Though I think i'm gonna have a set made that are 2 1/2".

I just got done installing them today so I have no track time yet. Hopefully next weekend.
However my seat of the pants meter tells me I have knocked off at least a full second. LOL
