With all of the power that race car is making, I hope the tube that is attached to the strain gauge that is attached to the car is strong enough or see above threads. Would hate to see that car fall of the "dyno" sideways. I wonder how the guy got around his neighborhood convenants.
Am I blind or are all of the lugnuts missing of the truck wheel in the last picture?
I believe those wheels the lugs screw onto other lugs to hold the first wheel on, then you put the outer wheel on and screw the lug nuts to them.
must be parts from the scale that used to weigh the truck axle.actually,thats it! the truck scale flipped with his truck on it so nothing left to do but make a dyno out of it!
lol no,i have to agree,no matter what its using for measurement,without a fixed vehicle placement i dont see how it can come close to producing consistant result.
I've gotta respect this guy for being inventive but I think I'll just drive on over to a shop with a dyno and plunk down my $75 and put my car on the dyno and get a dependable printout and then drive home to my backyard without holes and concrete and semi tractor axles lying around. just my $.02
