turn signal switch part??
Just got a call from my repairman and said that there is a peuter (spelling?)type plastic piece that attaches to the windshield wiper switch that has broken off and needs to be replaced. I dont have a clue what he is refering to...any ideas?

My turn signal has no right turn switch, only left (down position) and is loose inside the column.

Yup,
You have a broken "pivot switch".(it may be called a multifuction switch)
Been there, done that, got the T shirt. This will require the steering wheel to come off, disassemble some column parts, and replace. He will likely bill for about say, 2-3 hours. The switch is not cheap either. Seems like around $200 list.
