i was wondering if any of you guys had problems getting your cars inspected with the mini ram intake on it i live in dallas tx and the guy i bought my car from has one still in the box with fuel rails and i can pick it up for about $500 he has the receipt on it and i think he paid $1400 for it i would like to have it for my future build but i was wondering if some one could tell me what kind of problems im going to run into

You could probably get away with it. It looks so much like an LT1 intake that most inspectors wont know the difference. Also here in texas the best thing to do is find a local mechanic that can do state inspections and become best friends with him. The second thing you can do is go onto www.camaroz28.com and go to the Texas forum. Then post a question where to get inspected in the area. I can almost garantee you there is a guy on there in your area that does inspections for the camaro guys and will do it for you. Just ask around. I got my inspection sticker from a guy and he never even saw the car. I just gave him the info he needed and he gave me a sticker.
I just fabbed up a block off plate from the EGR connection on the headers and ran a rubber vacuum hose from it and shoved it up under the intake. Just tell the guy the EGR valve is buried low under the intake worked for me. Oh yeah, I became best friends with an inspector too.
