Default Air intakes/rockers

Dumb question, hopefully I can get an answer. I just recently dynoed my 93 Ruby, 253hp/286tq at the wheels. Only thing done so far is a K&N filter, air foil and a cat back w/x-pipe. Thinking on how to get a few more ponies. Would a better intake filter set-up help?? The K&N sits in the original box with the air silencer off... I don't want anything that requires cutting underhood.
Thoughts on roller rockers? Ratio?
Thanks
Dan

a set of 1.6 rockers will give you 15-20 fwhp.

Definitely a lot of bang for the buck on a stock engine. Make sure and upgrade your springs w/ stock LT4s, at least. You can still use your retainers to save a few bucks. Oh yeah, make sure and go with quality the first time such as Comp Cams Pro Magnums, Crane Golds, etc. The CCs are stainless steel and actually lighter than most aluminum ones.

Let me run down to the garage again and I'll get you a part number for the CCs.

1318-16 These are the self-aligning ones that require no guide plates or hardened push rods. They also come with great locks that don't come loose. I run the doggie-doo out of mine sometimes and have never had a problem.

Thanx! What about an air box upgrade?? Would I need a chip after doing the rockers?? I was planning on going with a cooler thermo anyway.
Time to log off, I'll check back Sun.
thanx again.
