Default Line Lock and ASR

Can I install a line lock on my 92? Will it mess with the ASR system? Will there be peace in the middle east? Can someone answer at least two of these questions?

you should be fine intalling the line locks in your car. Just mount it before the ABS pump. also dont forget to turn the ASR off before you use the line locks.

I have mine mounted below the brake master cylinder on my 96 but had a buddy with a 95 ZR1 who has his mounted in the compartment with the ABS. No one knows it's there except him and the guy who put it in. I haven't had any trouble with the ABS/ASR since install.

As long as ASR is truned off, you will not have any problems. Remember when you are using the line loc, your foot isn't on the brake pedal, so I'm guessing that the computer doesn't know the front brakes are engaged, therefore allowing the rear wheels to spin without hinderance.

Either way, even if you used the brakes to do a burnout 300HP can overcome the holding power of the rear brakes pretty damn easily.

Every burnout I've done, I've never had the ABS light come on or ASR light come on.

Like the others have said should be no problem.
Make sure the ASR is OFF before doing a burnout. I had to put in a new clutch to learn this lesson.

Here are some pics of my install. If I can do it so can anyone.

Thanks for the info and Pics, but I could not get to the 2nd page. Could you e-mail a pic of the mounting spot for the valve? - Thanks
