Was wondering if someone with a factory manual can look something up for me. I installed my Camber-Brace today and need the factory torque specs for the front upper control arm bolts. By the way car is a '94. Any help is appreciated and yes I'm working on getting a factory manual.

That is an interesting range of torque specs. My '84 Helms says 85 N-m and 63 ft lbs. That spec is titled, "Upper Control Arm Shaft to Crossmember". To me, that is too large a bolt, to only have the same torque as the intake manifold (35#).
1984 = 63 ft. lbs.
1992 = 37 ft. lbs.
1995 = 83 ft. lbs.
1996 = 37 ft. lbs.

I think I'd just make sure they're "tight" and alert the alignment shop, in case they don't have to add shims, and let them, "do their thing". I went by MY Helms service manual when I rebuilt my front suspension. When I took it in for an alignment, afterward, no caster/camber shims were needed. Just a minor toe in adjustment.

You and 96GS are right, when I looked across the page from the description to the spec, I slipped down a spot and gave the number for the lower arm. Sheesh, 37 lbs. ft. does NOT seem like enough for those nuts. I think I'd go some more and recheck them a couple of times too after driving it a bit.

Guys I appreciate all the responses. I'm going to do 40 ft/lbs and use blue Loctite on the threads. The only reason that I could see for such a low torque recomendation is that the nuts are made out of what appears to be aluminum. The bolt is definitely thick and strong enough to handle something in the 75-85 ft/lbs range.
