Finally got my C5 brake parts installed and did a fluid flush. Only real problem encountered was not being able to get the caliper flexible hose removed from the hard line on the body on the right side (removing to install s/s lines). Ended up monkey'ing up the line fitting beyond getting a wrench on it so I had to end up cutting the hardline off and rebending a new one that goes across under the front. No real biggie but a PITA. Anyway, I have about $550 total in this, using Ed Salinas brackets, e-bay calipers, Hawk HPS pads, NAPA front rotors, DRM bias spring and s/s lines at all corners, and new generic rear pads. The calipers cleaned up nicely. I have a question though on the rotors - they weren't marked L and R. I guess I could call NAPA and verify part numbers, but I have them installed so that the curved veins appear to be pulling air from the inside of the rotor to the outside as it spins. Can anyone verify that this is the correct direction? Here's a few pics:

Thanks guys. 96ZRide: you need 17" A-molds at a minimum I believe. I've heard the sawblades won't clear.
Yooo 93',
Great job dude.. Looks very hot. Your rotors are correct (pulling air from in to out).
17" sawblades will work but need 1/2 inch min spacer to clear the curved portion of the 8 fins...
Will be finishing my install this weekend and will post some pics. I went with Baer Eradispeed rotors and painted my calipers red. Those C5 rotors look HUGE compared to my stock 12" rotors!
