No offense, but, I know that. I know that there is more than enough fluid in that pan when its cold, its up to almost the top of the bend in the dipstick but when cranked it all gets sucked into the transmission, if it is low on tranny fluid then that would mean for it to be full when warm it would have to be 8 to 10 inches up the stick when its cold because when its cold now its already around four or five inches up the dipstick. When I bought that deep pan I was buying it under the impression that my stock pan was bent and that was the reason the pan continued to leak every time I filled it with fluid hot and running, but when I installed the deep pan it did the same and leaked probably three or four quarts of fluid from the pan, at the time I thought I had overfilled it, because to get it to check full hot and running I had to add almost 11 quarts of fluid, and I didn't drain the entire tranny, I only drained what was in the pan, probably 5 quarts. Anyway after it leaked those three or four quarts it stopped and I drove it and it seemed alright. Now, given everything that has happened I have thought about it and the seals or torque converter or something must be bad to cause all of the fluid in the tranny to drain back into the pan. I don't understand why this would have happened or why the tranny won't pull but it is, and the main thing I want to know is if the TCI Street Fighter 700r4 Tranny that is suppose to work in all applications will work in a 1984 Corvette, because on the Summit website I have found a street fighter tranny that is suppose to be for corvettes specifically and it costs $500 more

and I can't afford that right now

being a 16 year old boy who only makes $7 an hour for 15 to 20 hours a week. What I'm trying to say is if you guys feel compelled to take up a collection for me so I can get the new tranny it would be fine with me.

. But seriously, I really need some help with this so if you know which tranny will work, or you've got a better price from somewhere else please let me know. Thanks.
