Default PKE System woes

I recently had the CCM computer replaced in my 93 LT1 - a repair shop fried it while changing the heater core.

The PKE system unlocks the doors fine but when you move the key fob away, it takes 15 seconds for the doors to lock, not the usual 3 to 4 seconds. Also, when turning the system on or off (by holding down the door button on the fob) it recognizes the fob command right away, but takes 15 seconds to cycle the locks.

Does anyone else know what's wrong?

The shop, a corvette speciality shop, is stumped, has contacted GM and if no luck, is about to contact Gordon Killebrew.

I assume they got the right part number, CCM. Maybe it's malfunctioning. Killebrew is your best bet.

The new CCM might just have a longer timer inside it, all of your timers are inside of your CCM, it's one of those little black box things. I am having a hell of a time trying to sort out a problem with a 93 and would love it if his PKE would work that good. I would be willing to bet that it is just a longer timer in the new CCM.
