New computer...lower mpg
I had a new ECM installed on my '93 and now I'm getting 2.5 to 3 mpg less than before. Also the idle is a bit rough and skippy. Anyone have any thoughts? The dealer, of course, said it checked out normal.

If the replacement computer has a defective input or output channel, such as, the coolant temp sensor input indicates -40 deg F instead of actual. However, give the PCM 50 - 100 Miles to relearn first.

Thanks for the tip. Someone else thought it might be the catalytic converter or the 02 sensor. It does smell like it's burning a little rich. I have to get a smog soon, Maybe that will shed some light on this.
