There is an article in tech tips that suggests removing a vacuum line from the fuel pressure regulator to get increase accelration. Has anyone else done this? How does it work and is it safe to do?

All removing that does is to simulate a WOT condition. That means that the max amount of fuel pressure. Sounds good, doesn't it? Of course, this means that you get it richer where you don't want it to be too. Why not just reburn the EPROM and get it where you need it?

Stock calibration on a stock C4 is always at the rich side.
With this mode you can go more rich and the ECM has to compensate (in closed loop) for proper AFR more than before.
