Tools that work!
I thought I'd ask everyone to name one tool (or several
) that they have bought that they really like & use a lot. I'll start off.
The "I" beam that you attach to your jack & lift the whole rear end (under the diff.) by the Corvette Gadget Man.
I'd post a pic but it's too hard to figure out

There's one tool that seems to get used every day; the Shop-Vac.

see my post in "tools that dont work" for comments on some Harbor Freight stuff.
In addition to that, I can add;
Harbor Frieght tarps- where else can you buy a tarp for $1.99.
HF Carbide tipped Circ. saw blades. Work great, and at $2.99 you cant even shapren an old one for that price.
Body file, the 16" long air sander- works great and for $39 its a bargain.
Air tool fittings, $2.99 for a five pack, brass. Cant go wrong. One fem. & 4 male.

A wheel cutter, I threw my hacksaw away....... Oh and a torch if something REALLY pisses me off. And lots of hammers, all types including a real BFH!

1/4" drive air ratchet. Zips those long sparkplugs right out. Not enough torque to hurt anything.

My 3/8" drive 1" extension. I can't tell you how many times this 1" extension comes in handy. Every once in a while the ratchet and socket is too short and the 2" extension is too long. Works great for the #8 spark plug.
And my 18" 3/8" drive extension. Always comes in handy.
GearWrenchs! An excellent tool for all the tight spots.

Besides all of the basic tools (Craftsman mostly) the most recent bang for the buck tool is my Harbor Freight 12 ton press. I just got done doing all of the rear bushigs on the 90 and this thing is a major time saver.

I also found that my 36" extension was very helpful in removing the top nut from the cat flange on the drivers side.

I'll second the magnet.
Don't know how many times it has saved me when I've dropped somethingwhere I can't even see it.
