New guy.90 wire arcing
Great guy on here. My problem 90 L98. It was running fine but it was time for a tune up. New ac delco wires & plugs and a off brand distributor & rotor from O'REILLY. Now i have some wires 8mm arcing & cuts out when idleing. Thank you for any help.

Well Providing that you have the wires safely routed and connected properly and dont have them all criss crossed and haven't cut or stripped any edges. I'd say it's maybe a timing issue since you replaced the distributor and rotor...and you also say it's an O'reilly off brand distributor and rotor...could be a problem here also.

One more thing, where is is arcing on the wires?? Do you see it or just hear it or what?? If you can see it arc then look for any inperfection in the wire in that area and try re-positioning the wires in the area of arc if you find no imperfections. Let us know and good luck.
