opti spark seal replacement c-4
my 1994 c-4 has a small oil leak dealer tells me its a worn seal around the opti spark. can anyone give me advise on replacing it myself. dont want to pay $400.00 to dealer.

Remove the water pump and the crank damper to access the opti for removal. Might want to just go ahead and remove the hub too and replace the front crank seal and also replace the water pump drive seal while you're right there. The opti seal installs dry if I recall, can't remember about the crank seal. Instructions though should be included and I'd recommend Felpro gaskets and seals. A front cover set should get you everything you need and was about $15 I think.
