Which ESC for a 1987 ????

Recently I read a thread about how the esc on 87s was too sensitive. Someone said Gordon Kilibrew recommends solving this by using one fro a mid 80s Malibu. They gave the part number as Nappa# ESC 312. However at Nappa that is not a good number. I tried 1981-1983 Malibus and their computer says they do not have one. Anyone know what part number to use. I am getting the on and off servvice engine light code #43 and would like to fix it.

The "upgrade" ESC P/N given to me by Gordon for my '88 L98 is on my site.

His recommendation was in response to my discussion with him on my false knock issues.
