Venting an old style opti.......???
Has anyone done this? I read a tech article from Corvette Fever, it seemed pretty straight forward?

Yes, I've done it. The toughest part was getting the plastic "Y" sealed up to the plastic Opti cap, the 10$ soldering iron I bought got a workout. I wanted to make sure it was sealed, so holding my finger over the end of the "Y" I would fill the cap up with water, finally after about 6 tries I got it to hold water, no drips .
This Opti has about 9k miles on it and the seal was already cracked at the bottom, so I replaced them with (sensor safe) RTV.

I'd love to go with the Delteq....except the opti is dead. So, I would still have to get a new opti AND the delteq system. Waaaay to much $$!
C4CRAZY.....looks good. I may go that route!
