Default Tune Up Question

I have a 96 LT1 that is stock except for Magnaflows, no resonator, an H-pipe with 51,000 miles. Also K&N air filter. I've had it for almost 2 years and was thinking it was probably time for a tune up. What kind of plugs and wires and other things do you all recommend ?

Pull a copla plugs and check the gap and overall condition. If they still look good, don'e mess with em except maybe to regap them.

Similarly for the wires, if they are in good condition, leave them alone.

Taylor wires...plugs are a tossup to whatever brand you prefer. People run everything from AutoZone cheepies to NGK Iridiums and Bosch Platinum 4+ (which I've heard too many bad things about to even consider, but others don't seem to have issues with 'em). On our cars, the plugs/wire change is notorious for being a major P.I.T.A. for a do-it-yourselfer... Others like the challenge, so I guess that's up to you. Just do your homework before you decide to go out in the driveway and start wrenchin'.

Other things I would suggest would definitely be a fuel filter (especially if it's never been changed), and a tranny fluid/filter change. Maybe replace your serpentine belt if it needs it, and do a good coolant flush if it's never been done.

Best of luck!
