LT1/4 vettes common problems
I need some help guys, All the sudden my radio/cassette/cd player are not working and the power antenna is also not working. I checked the radio fuse and it is fine. What caused my power antenna not go up when I turn on the radio?? It is common for these piece of crap BOSE system?? any help is appreciated

The antenna went south on my first Vette - a 91, and a I don't think the Blose was involved... Those parts are just notorious for going bad. Fortunately, mine went up, but it wouldn't go down (that could be taken out of context *really* easily!), so it wasn't such a problem... As you seem to be already aware, the headunits are pretty much crap, and they are very prone to failure. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed on my 96, but when it does go out, it's gonna be aftermarket city for me and mine...
