Default Idle rpm...
My brake booster went south last Wed. night...will this afect my idle rpm ?...it has risen to almost 1000 since the bosster went out...does this have to do with the vacuum ?....thanks

yes it takes vacuum from the plenum

It depends on the problem with the booster. A ruptured diaphram equals a vacuum leak.

Thanks guys...I don't know if the diaphram is ruptured...I'll find out tomorrow when my guy pulls it...the idle sure is screwed up though...

Pull the vacuum hose to the booster and plug it. Any difference?
