I decided to go to a track near me- it is only 1/8th. Anyway i ran a 9.2 - i am kinda disapointed in this. I coulda gained another.1 -.2 if i hooked up better (i think).
Anyway its a 92 completely stock.

is this the time i should expect for a stock LT1 Auto..

anyway in a few weeks ill go back with a new attitude and a new car (not really but several mods - cam,heads, etc...)

With the mod's in my sig I ran a best 8.624 1/8th mile.. so a 9.2 totaly stock sounds about right.

My basically stock '90 ran 9.1 with a horrible 2.2 60' time. It definately has alot left in it.

My 91 ran 8.98 in the 1/8 when stock so I'd say you should be running a bit quicker. How were your 60' times?

That doesnt sound too bad. That equates to *roughly* a 13.5. To *roughly* calculate 1/4 mile from 1/8, take your time and add 50% to it. Your 60' time and MPH would be very helpfull here too. Besides engine improvements, you can probably gain quite a bit from just driver experience. Even a good driver will take a few trips to learn a car, and anyone can shave off a few tenths with some practice.

the car has 2.59 gears.

and there was some tire spin- i have eagle f-1 tires and they dont hook up perfect


the track doesnt get any thing except 1/8th time- no trap speed or anything
