Default Susepnsion upgrade

I'm looking to eventually upgrade the suspension on my 93 6-spd coupe. It has the base suspension setup. During high speed spirited driving the car doesn't feel as buttoned down as I would like. I'd like to get some opinions on a suspension set up.
P.S. It has ZR-1 rims and new Goodyear Eagle F1 tires (275's at each corner) as well as Baer rotors on all corners and C5 calipers on the front already.

This is the type of package that I'm looking for. Any one know what type of lateral G's this setup pulls?

I highly doubt that its ever been tested....it'll be better than your base setup....but you'd also feel a huge improvement if you just replaced all the worn out parts in your current setup

car only has 23K miles. I would think there wouldn't be anything worn out already.

I had the same basic suspensionas you did. I kept the stock springs, upgraded the swaybars to 30mm/26mm solids with poly bushings and endlinks. After that my Vette cornered much flatter.

Upgrade to a 30mm solid frt sway bar, better springs, http://www.vbandp.com/ has some great packages. Then get the Camber Brace from www.r-dracing.com, and their Cross Bar, or better yet, the S/T Frame Support (see sig).

This made a huge difference in handling. No more exciting exits from bumpy corners.

Ladimer,

I saw that package as well when I redid my suspension. I redid all the bushings and ball joints, made the switch to coil overs, VBandP smart struts, and heim links, and went with the 30 mm/26 mm sway bars instead of the package in mid america.

The reason for this is I got deals on almost everything (ebay and this forum) but the coil overs (which weren't much more than new springs and bilsteins) and TAKE A LOOK AT THE PRODUCT REVIEW FOR VETTE BRAKES AND PRODUCTS EXTREME TOURING SYSTEM on this web site. When I was in the market they got a terrible product review and it looks to be the same thing.

I can't tell you how my set up is going because I am still building the car but I sure help it was worth the effort.
