Default Wheel offsets

Hi guys,

Can anyone tell me all of the wheel offsets from '86 to C6 models?

The reason is that I am thinking of fitting C6 style rims to my '86. House of Wheels say they have them in C5 and C6 offsets, so I am working out what diameter/width combination I want.

Many thanks

C5 rims wont fit your 86 properly w/o the use of spacers. I suspect it will be the same with the C6 rims.

84-87 cars used a 38mm offset and the 88 and later C4's used 56mm offset. The C5 wheel and 88 and later C4 17" inch wheels will need adapters to get the later wheels to sit properly in the wheelwell. The later wheels will bolt on (same 5x120mm bolt pattern and 60 degree lug) but they will sit further inside the wheelwell by aroudn 3/4".

Adapters for bolting on GM 88 and later wheels can run anywhere from $200 to about $300. Try checking eBay, Vette Brakes, or one of the accessory catalogs.
