I have March underdrive pulleys, which required a different belt from the stock 90' and 91' belt.
I measured 66"-67" using an old belt, which I cut. I bought a Dayco Poly Cog 5060675. It works fine using the reroute trick. I think that I will retain the stock flat tensioner pulley for now and monitor the ribs for wear.
Thanks everybody for the help.
I picked up 20 RWHP from the mod...oops forgot I am not a vendor...just kidding.
Makes physical sense , but not logical. I have heard on this very forum as well you can indeed dump your AC and go with a shorter belt, but on 84's only.
what about 1989 Chevy corvette will just getting a shorter belt work on eliminating the a.c. Compressor that it log
