Will having a burnt chip in your vette stop the laptop from communicating with it? I hook up the laptop go to capture and it says it lost connection everytime. But when I first hook it up it says it ok. Any ideas?
Me too I have tried to get it to run on my 93 and it won't work. It keeps saying "no sync" ???I have tried everything. I think I need to find windows 98 and try that.

I think it depends on who did the chip. I have a ski chip, a PCM for less chip and a hypertech. Datamaster will read the ski and the PCM but not the Hypertech. Ive heard some burners "fix" the chip to keep one from coppying it.
I was told to try this: you need to turn off the modem and all infered conections,go into my computer and systems
device mgr and disable all the above ,On your computer tts program turn off your hand shake an it should work.
