Just spoke with the guys over their, and he told me that the C4 system should be available within the next 4 weeks. I know this has been talked about before, so I thought I would give everyone an update!
He says that the C4 system, is almost identical to the new C6 one they are also developing.
I asked and he didn't give me a straight answer. He said they have two prototypes right now, one was expensive, the other cheap. I guess we will find out soon enough!
I'm debating waiting for this one, or just buying the Vortex one right now.

Any thoughts?
A lot of people have prior experience with the Vortex. Some have nothing bad to say while others have nothing *but* bad things to say about its workmanship and quality. Top that off with the fact that there's no way to really show gains on a dyno since the car is standing still, and you've got an awful expensive add-on that doesn't do much.
Now, in terms of under-hood coolness, I'd say the Vortex is awesome. Triple cone filters always impress, but the fact of the matter is, they don't provide any more filtration area than a K&N panel filter, and it's just plain expensive!

!
The only reason I am asking is because after I got my new cam in and custom tune the guy at the shop said that the car needs more air, and that if I got a new intake system, and let him tune again, I would feel some more gain. He said that normally these mods wouldn't show anything on the dyno, but in my case it probably would show a minimal gain, but that it would help out a ton! He also recommended that I do everything from ordering to install, so it wasn't a sales pitch!

I'm not talking about the triple cone intake, I'm talking about the Vortex Ram Air Induction System. Madvet p/n 606-025. Any thoughts on that one!
I have had my Vortex for a couple of years with no problems. I put some extra screws and straps on it. It is a little light but I would still buy again.JMO
Yeah well I hope it actually comes out this time in 3 weeks...i've been waiting a while for this intake to come out...I just hope the numbers will live up to the C5's...
not trying to change the subject but has anyone done any dyno runs or ET or MPH tests on the forced air intake? that looks like a killer setup to me. i would think it would gain more than any other current setup. (the future vararam excluded)
