84 alternator
the 17 SI in my 84 burned out a couple days ago. It did so in grand fashion, the bearings came loose and the stator hit the windings, and blew red dust out the front of the alternator. anyway, i'm certainly not replacing it with the same unit when there's good upgrades available. any suggestions on whether i should go with a new powermaster, or a reman delco CS-144 321-368? thanks

HELP!! i found a good price on a 321-368 delco alternator, but NO one in the waterbury ct area carries the 8078 adapter. dammit!! anyone have any idea who carries this adapter?? thank you
