406 block?

406 block?
I plan on building a 406 and have located blocks one has been hot tanked,magnafluxed, pressure tested the has been hot tanked, magnafluxed, shot blasted and sprayed with rust protectant they both cots $300-$500. are these priced right?

i just talked to the motor guy and he said he would build me a 420 or a 434 short block with eagle forged components and j/e nos pistons all balanced and assembled for $2500.00. 
and thats including 2 bolt billet caps...$400 more for 4bolt splayed caps,
