Replaced my MAP sensor today, possible improvement..
Before I blindly threw a sensor at mine, I went back and reviewed a couple Datamaster scans I recorded of my car earlier this yr. The MAP reading did show what appeared to be some erratic behaviour in a few areas of the scan during op temp running and during warm-up.
So what the hey I threw a $30 GP Sorenson MAP sensor at it, and damned if my 3-4 shift quality doesn't seem to have improved.
I realize GP Sorenson is mid range quality, but for the cost of a fill up I'll take the chance. Damn thing is grey colored instead of black, though...
(but it is the right part#)
