Take your key to a chevy dealer and they can read the number of Ohms off your key. Then go to radio shack and get one.
Or since you know the key code value is 2 call the dealer and they may have the chart to tell you the same info.
Or call Mid America and get a VATS bypass for your car. I think its about 28 bucks. You will need they key value for that when ordering.

Measure the pellet resistance with an ohmeter (a digital one) and buy the nearest standard value (within 5%) 1/4 watt 5% resistor from Radio Shack and connect it to the wires going to the VATS module.

What a pain, but thanks to all who helped. Used a 330 and a 220 in line , and attached to the wiring plug from the switch. Off to work
