I just picked up my first C4 vert and I haven't worked with the earlier C4's in awhile and the cruise was dead when I got it. I assume the first thing to check is the fuse and after that well ???? My guess is the servo and what is the easiest way to trouble shoot this problem ??? Any ideas, well thanks in advance. It is a 1986 pace car and my last 84/87 was about 5 years ago. HELP !!

Yep, I'd first check all the vacuum hoses. The servo has two, there's one at the reservoir under the driver's side headlight, one runs through the firewall to a switch at the brake pedal and the last one is on the plenum near the fuel pressure regulator.
If the servo has a hole, you can patch it with sensor safe silicone sealant or swap it out with one from a mid 80s car at a wrecking yard.
If the problem isn't found, I have a doc file I prepared of the electrical trouble-shooting procedure taken from the 86 Corvette Shop manual.
