You can put a scanner or meter on the EST wire, and it's good at the ECM?
Then you need a new ECM.
I would suggest searching over in Scan and Tune... you should consider upgrading to a newer ECU. The earlier ECUs are SO slow... newer ones are much faster!!! Faster means better refinement.
The older ones are so slow, that if you attach a scan tool to them, it can cause the motor to nearly die! Also, the data refresh rates are SO slow, you cannot get a good picture of what is going on.
