I tried to use the search feature but it did not return any usable info so here goes.
The pass. side headlight motor on my 90 keeps running for like 10 sec after the light reaches the stop either open or closed. Everything else seems to be fine it just doesn't want to stop.

Are these the bushings that can be purchased from a hardware store that I've read of here on the forum? I think one of my lights is starting to do the same thing.
Yes. Although there's controversey surrounding their use, I bought my bushings from Home Depot, installed them, and my lights are working fine. Other have used them and had them fail shortly after installing them.
It's a turkey shoot. I just want you to go in eyes wide open before you commit to purchase so you or no one else here can beef I sold you a bum steer.
Or you can order the bushings from MAM, Eckler's and the other big-dog retailers for the O.E.M. Delrin bushings and pay a whole lot more.
The Home Depot item number is 595609. That's all you need to tell the clerk when you go in there. You will need six (6) of these nylon spacers in order to repair both lights.
Cool. Sounds like the bushings are the problem. I'll get to it this weekend and report back as to the results.
Thanks All!

Take your time, print out the instructions I sent you and READ them over CAREFULLY two or more times before you commit to install. Mind what you have learned save you from the Dark Side it can...
Just got done last night replacing both sets of bushings in my headlights. (Anyone else stay up until 2:00am working on their car for fun?)
I had the same problem and new bushings fixed it. The Home Depot bushings are rather thin and I had to replace the first set. When I opened it back up they were squished. Someone suggested bushings from Lowe's which are thicker but must be trimmed. Here's my thread with part numbers from lowes. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/showthread.php?t=922225
Good luck and watch for all the small shims inside and outside the motor!
I just did my passenger side bushings with a set I got from ebay (solid bushings). I did the other side last year and now no spinning motor
I was stuck for a while trying to get the motor off of the headlight assembly, until I realized that the cotter pin had broken and there was still a piece inside, once I got that out it was smooth sailing
It only took maybe 2hrs from opening the hood to closing it thanks to all of the help here. For the bushings I used ones from lowes since that is all that is near me. 1/2 x .194 x 1/2 is the size. I think they change P/Ns or manufacturers regularly so the size is the best way to find them.
Everything went together a little tight but I guess they will do a better job than the dust that was in there (yes, nothing but dust/chips). I only did the broken one and have the extra parts set aside for when the other dies.
Forgot to add that the Roll Pin broke down the long axis and the spring clip snapped. I found replacements at Lowes a few drawers away from the bushings. Add another $1.45 to the bill.
