Default TPS Question

What TPS woulod come with slotted arms so I don't have to dremmel it when I want to adjust the TPS voltage? I believe it was for an 85 or so but I don't know and the dealership will order it but I have to pay for it whether it is the right one or not. TIA

the 85 one is slotted but iam not shure if it will interchange into your car.autozone carries them for about $20 .bring in your old one and look to see if you think it will interchange.

The '85-'89 TPS were slotted and so adjustable.

Contemporary Corvette lists P/N30369 as '85-'89 TPS @$65, so any of those years should work fine in your '85 Vette.

My bad. I should have stated I have a 91 Vette and am trying to see if an 85 TPS will work so I don't have to buy a dremmel and hog the TPS out

Don't even bother on a '90 or '91 L98 as the newer ECM will simply detect base idle position as well as WOT.

So slotting the TPS holes makes no difference on your L98 as the ECM will override any attempted tweaks; that's why your stock TPS isn't slotted.
