Default Front lower control arm rear bolts

Anyone ever have trouble with the front lower control arm rear bolts (89-96) hitting the frame when you try to remove them? If so what did you do? Bolt is only coming about half way out before making contact with frame.

Short of dropping the whole suspension girdle, I think I am going to just cut the bolt and then reinstall it reversed upon reassembly.

No, don't cut. If I remember right doesn't it just hit those short cross braces that attach from the center out to the frame rails. Just remove those. Two bolts at the end under the oil pan and either two or three up on the side of the frame. Yeah, it sucks to have to pull them out just to pull the bolt, but I'd pull them before cutting the bolt. FYI, I probably violate some major rule or something but when I put the bolt back in, I put it in the opposite direction. IE, pointing backward so you just have to stick the nut up in that small area.

edit: Oh wait, now that I read your second post better I see you already thought of that idea too.
