with my targa top off I have a horrible rattle in the back glass area, has anyone had this problem and tried a targa truss?

I've seen it - haven't used it.

The roof is a huge part of this car's structural integrity. Without it - the car feels as stiff as a wet noodle.

That said - the targa truss looks like a reasonable solution if you really want the top off. It's beefy - and mounts with the same bolts as the factory piece.

Default I want one

I saw them at fun fest. I had thought about building one myself before I knew it was already out there. Saving up my $$$ now.

R-DRacing also has a Cross-Frame X brace that bolts on underneath the body. I have one and it does a great job and its probably at least 90% as stiff as you would have with the Targa Truss. Give Dave Cooper a call, he'll be glad to fix you up.

Default Pro Street Customs

I wouldn't use the R-D Racing. Looks like crap. I have the AFSB Bar from Prostreet Customs. www.prostreetcustoms.net. Their bar looks alot better than R-D. Also I see they are coming out with a Harness Bar for $150.00.

the reason you are getting a rattle is because the air has no where to go once it comes in the car!
im guessing that you have the top off and truss on.
what you can do is by the rear hatch vent!

that should help with the air flow!

i also agree that the cross bar and cross frame are good for frame flex.
but hes not talking about that he jsut wants to cruise with his top down and not have terrible flex!!!!!
try the hatch vent its like $30 works like a charm!
