Headers and plastic brake boosters

I don't know if it is common lnowledge but my header heat weakened the plastic brake booster and blew a hole in it. Replacing the booster is not a fun job. I made a heat shield for my new one.

The main wiring harness going to the PCM gets to hot also. I have seen the wire coating starting to melt so I wraped those.

What brand headers are you running and are they ceramic coated? I've been running mine for 3 years on my daily driver with no problem.

Hooker SC coated in and out. It may be that I get heat year round since I am in Florida. My mechanic friend has seen it happen before here. Maybe the excess heat from my fresh engine rebuild killed it.
