Okay...it appears to be vacuum canister small like a film roll holder. It is located on the passenger side of the intake. It has three lines one into it and two out of it..or visaversa...not sure.Well the vacuum line that goes at a 90 degree angle is broken off.The vacuum line will still go on about a 1/10"...I now it's sucking air or leaking.

What is that little guy and what does it do????????

I need another one?...where?

I can't tell from your description but sometimes you can patch hard vacuum lines with a piece of flexible rubber vacuum line.

Year of car? On mine, there's one with two in one out. It was a check valve that controlled my cruise control.

The item is called a three way check valve. Goes to the cruise control servo and the HVAC controls. They are available in the HELP section of most auto parts places. The cost is around $3.50.
