Default Who here has done !Cat mod

First stage of exhaust mods to start Friday.Cats are gonna be in trash can.The resinator is gonna keep them company!
I know it's gonna throw a code but is is still gonna drive alright. My LS1 Formula threw a code but ran perfect until I got the 02 simms in.Just curiuos if the Vette is gonna do the same or is gonna make it run bad????I'll let ya know later on the muffler choices.

92 C4 6-speed.

You should be just fine, and you can have the chip reprogramed to eliminate the code.

Probably a good idea just to reflash instead of getting 02 simms?

A 92 Corvette will not throw a code with the cats removed. It will not have the slightest idea they are gone as long as you keep you O2 sensor inplace. The O2 sensor is in the front of the cats and there are no sensors after the cats. You do not need or want O2 sims with a 92 either.

Don't throw those cats away. Find a spot in the garage to keep them - they're worth a small fortune. Or - put them up on ebay.

are they still good? If so PM me if you want to sell them. My passenger side is shot and I want to replace both this winter.
